Part-Time Business Director
The Unionville Skating Club Board of Directors would like to announce that we have hired Pamela Nitert for the role of Business Director.  Pamela held the Board position of President for the past couple of years, and anyone who knows Pamela is aware of her passion for the club, the coaches and the skaters. Pamela comes to USC with over 20 years of business skills and education including leadership, project management, sales, marketing, communication and board governance. As Business Director, she will be accountable for overall club operations and ensuring that USC achieves its strategic goals and operational plan objectives set out in our strategic visioning session.  Congratulations Pamela!

Part-Time Office Assistant
Also, please welcome Winky Au to the position of part time Office Assistant. In this role, Winky will be supporting you, our USC Members, the Board of Directors and the Business Director.  Many of you may have already had the pleasure of being greeted by her in the office where her never ending smile and willingness to help quickly become obvious. Winky has over 25 years of secretarial and office administrative experience and was formally educated in Hong Kong and the UK.  Please drop by the office and say hello!

New Dance Coach!
Last but not least….please join us in welcoming Christopher Hockaday to the USC Coaching Roster for 2017/2018.  Christopher is a professionally qualified British N.C.C.P level 2 Ice Skating Coach in Great Britain, specializing in Ice Dance and Synchronized Skating.  He is qualified as an International Ice Dance Technical Specialist and has coached British dance champions in various classifications from 2013 through to 2016.  Christopher enjoys working with children of all ages, abilities, and levels.  He has been to Canada a few times over the last 6 months and most recently in July to complete extensive coach training with Skate Canada.  Welcome Aboard Christopher!
